On September 13, 2008 when Hurricane Ike rolled into the Houston area, it seemed that no one was exempt from its fury. Ike was the third costliest Atlantic hurricane of all time, behind Hurricane Andrew of 1992 and Hurricane Katrina of 2005. The plan also allows employees to set aside pre-tax funds into Flexible Spending Accounts, which can be used to pay for out-of-pocket medical, dental and vision expenses.
